What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember information about your visit. They help websites function properly and can improve your experience.
Cookies We Use
Decklist uses essential cookies required for the service to function, as well as advertising cookies for non-premium users.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
session_id |
Essential cookie | Authentication. A signed, httpOnly cookie with SameSite=Lax that keeps you logged in. Required for the service to function. | Expires after 2 weeks of inactivity |
cookie_consent |
localStorage (not a cookie) | Stores your cookie consent preference so the banner does not reappear. Essential for remembering your choice. | Persistent until cleared |
Advertising Cookies
For non-premium users, Decklist displays ads through Google AdSense. Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and measure display ads. These cookies include:
| Category | Purpose | Consent Required |
|---|---|---|
ad_storage |
Stores information related to advertising, such as which ads have been shown. | Yes |
ad_user_data |
Sends user data to Google for advertising purposes. | Yes |
ad_personalization |
Enables personalized advertising based on user behavior. | Yes |
You can decline advertising cookies via the cookie consent banner. If you decline, ads will still be shown but they will be non-personalized. Premium users are not shown ads and no advertising cookies are set for them.
Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2 to manage advertising cookie consent. By default, all advertising cookies are denied until you explicitly accept them via the cookie consent banner. This ensures compliance with GDPR and similar regulations.
Third-Party Cookies
Sentry may set cookies for error monitoring purposes. This is essential for maintaining service stability and identifying issues.
TCGPlayer
When you click an affiliate price link on Decklist, you are taken to TCGPlayer's website. TCGPlayer may set its own cookies according to their own privacy and cookie policies. We have no control over cookies set by third-party websites.
Managing Cookies
You can manage and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Please note that deleting the session_id cookie will log you out of Decklist.
To clear your cookie consent preference, you can remove the cookie_consent item from your browser's localStorage via developer tools.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this cookie policy if we change how we use cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
